Pokemon Advanced Adventure (hack) Cheat Codes for GBA4iOS

Out of all the Pokemon Leaf Green ROM hacks, Pokemon Advanced Adventure is arguably the darkest and most compelling that I’ve ever had the chance to play. That’s saying a lot considering I’ve played dark titles such as Pokemon Snakewood and the Dark Rising series. Unlike most protagonists from the core Pokemon games, the main character in Advanced Adventure has a tragic backstory. The protagonist’s family was so poor that he had to contend with eating dirt for a week because they didn’t have any food to eat. There’s no doubt that the story is depressing but once you get past that and actually finish the game, you’ll be rewarded with a pretty satisfying end to the story.

Can You Use Pokemon Leaf Green Cheats?

As with most ROM hacks, it’s possible to use the cheat codes for the parent ROM to a limited extent. I’ve listed down a couple of the cheats I found that worked for GBA4iOS (along with some gameplay screenshots).

Note: There are some sites recommend that you use a Master Code before enabling any other cheat codes. In my experience, you can actually do away with this practice and input the codes I’ll list below directly. If for some reason the codes won’t work (very small chance) then you may try using the Master Codes to see if they’ll work.

Essential Cheat Codes

Now on to the cheat codes that you’ll need if you’re not too keen on playing the game the way it’s meant to be played. I’d also like to remind you to always save your game before you enable any of these cheats so that your progress won’t get wiped out.

Cheap Shopping

Unlike with Pokemon Fire Red or Ruby, Leaf Green does not have an unlimited/infinite money code. Instead, you can use the Cheap Shopping code to purchase any item from the Poke Mart for only 1 Poke Dollar.

Buy Everything for Free

free items

On the other hand, this code allows you to buy anything from the Poke Mart for free. You read that right! Once the code is activated, any item found on the Pokemart can be yours at no cost. This is great if you’re running low on cash or if you want to stock up on rare items

Master Ball

cheap shopping masterballs

Speaking of rare items, enabling this code will replace all of the items in the Poke Mart with Master Balls priced at 0 Poke Dollars. Take note though that you can only buy 1 item at a time so you might want to try using this in tandem with the Cheap Shopping Code first. Doing so would change the price to 1 Poke Dollar but will also allow you to buy 99 of the items at a time.

Rare Candy

Functions similar to the Master Ball cheat code above. Again, I’d suggest that you use this in tandem with the Cheap Shopping Code.

Walk Through Walls

I can’t say much about this cheat other than it’s really handy for evading random encounters. It’s pretty much an essential cheat for anyone who happens to be playing Pokemon games on any emulator.

Pokemon Encounter Codes

I only listed down the Pokemon codes for the first generation of Pokemon (1-150) since I believe that these would be more than enough to get you through the game and beat your rival.

I am in a love-hate relationship with games. If a game catches my eye, I make sure that I get to play it. The problem now is that I have too many games but so little time to play them! My current backlog (Steam and Android games) is at an all time high.
